
Edward Green has worked for private and public real estate investment companies during which time he has managed mixed use portfolios in the West End, Victoria and Paddington. His extensive experience of improving central london estates through better management, continuing investment and working in partnership are aligned to the Heart of London Business Alliance's aim to promote the area as a world class destination.
For the past 12 years, as Public Policy Manager for Alliance Boots, Andy has represented the retail sector across the UK, influencing and interpreting the impact of public policy on retailing and town centres. He holds a number of other titles, including Chair of both the Transport and Local Government Policy Advisory Groups at the British Retail Consortium, and in 2009 was joint author of the annual Nationwide Business Improvement District Survey, reviewing the delivery of the UK’s BIDs.
James Cooksey is Head of Urban Asset Management at The Crown Estate and is responsible for the organisation’s Central London portfolio (excluding Regent Street) and its diversification portfolio. James advises the Board on how to drive forward innovative plans for commercial rejuvenation and promote the area as a world class destination.
Delaney Gordon is General Manager of G Casino near Piccadilly Circus. As a member of our board, Delaney has the opportunity to influence and add value to the management of the area. Her experience as former Chair of the Leicester Square Association has also proved invaluable.
Emma Hammond is Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager of a global management consultancy, with its UK headquarters situated in the Heart of London area. Emma is keen to ensure the views of major employers and occupiers of office space are fully represented.
Tony Hutt joined marketing and PR agency Four Communications, based in Leicester Square, as an Associate from Weber Shandwick in 2004. He has worked in public affairs since 1984, handling a range of high profile planning issues and property clients in central London. Tony provides a valuable insight into public affairs issues affecting the area.
Louise Hyams has been a Councillor for St. James's ward since 1998, and was Lord Mayor of Westminster during 2008. She believes that a close working relationship between Westminster City Council, the Metropolitan Police, the business community and local residents is essential to the success of the Heart of London Business Alliance.
John is a Director of Soho Estates, who are key long term investors in the area. They understand the importance and value of working with local communities, Councils and associations to promote and improve local neighbourhood environments.
Eamonn Laverty is Managing Director of Northern Ireland-based McAleer and Rushe, formed in 1967. McAleer and Rushe are established specialists in the development and construction of city centre offices, hotels and mixed-use projects, and are responsible for the exciting redevelopment of the former Swiss Centre building in Leicester Square.
Roger Payne is Managing Director of Sound, one of Leicester Square’s premier entertainment venues, encompassing a bar, restaurant and nightclub. Roger believes the plans for the area will give soul to the Heart of London.
Tim Sketchley is Managing Director of private investment company, Old Park Lane Management. He brings to Heart of London Business Alliance over 36 years experience of property investment and has extensive market knowledge of the industry.
Tessa Street is General Manager of the two Odeon Cinemas in Leicester Square, both of which host a number of World, Royal and Gala Premieres every year. As an employer of the major film exhibitor in the UK, Tessa brings extensive experience of the entertainment sector to the Board.
Peter Sullivan is the Franchisee of 16 McDonald's restaurants within the central London area. McDonald's believe in supporting community programmes, which operate at grassroots level, and have therefore been keen to support the Heart of London.
Bob Thompson represents Lillywhites, one of the largest and most successful sports retailers in the UK, and holds the position of General Manager of the flagship store at Piccadilly Circus. Since the inception of the Heart of London Business Alliance, Bob believes there has been a noticeable improvement in the area, and continues to support our work.
Nick has worked for Clear Channel Outdoor, the World's largest outdoor advertising company for almost a decade, and for the last 7 years has been responsible for new business development across London. Such responsibility brings him in daily contact with all 33 London Boroughs, Transport for London (Nick manages their bus shelter advertising concession) and other key property owners and developers.
