Heart of London Business Alliance and our partners have identified pick-pocketing and bag theft to be a regular crime issue. In response to this, we have agreed a number of initiatives with the West End & Chinatown Safer Neighbourhood Team and Westminster City Council aimed at reducing the number of reported incidents.
One of these initiatives is for Heart of London to supply Chelsea Clips to affected businesses.
These are under table bag clips and can ideally be used for your al fresco tables as well as inside your venue.
We will also provide customer information leaflets.
We are specifically targeting all our cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants.
Please email our Operations Manager, Dave Fereday or Street Manager, Rico Pieri to arrange for us to deliver your Chelsea Clips, or contact them if you have any questions on this initiative.
Likewise contact them if you would like more Chelsea Clips, or any of the information hangers which are also being provided free of charge.
As of June 2010, we have distributed 2,000 Chelsea Clips and 2,000 information hangers to a total of 27 organisations.
