It has been recognised that the area surrounding Piccadilly Circus is suffering from poor street lighting and an excess of street furniture. Capital funding has now been secured to improve the streetscape in this area, including repaving using York Stone, improved street lighting and the reduction of street clutter. The scheme will compliment the bus contra-flow proposals, which form part of the Route 38 corridor.
