Pub Watch

We facilitate monthly Pub Watch meetings for night-time economy area managers, club owners and general managers to discuss the issues that most affect them with the aim of achieving a safe, secure drinking environment in all licensed premises and reducing alcohol-related crime.  Representative from the Police and Westminster City Council are occasionally invited to attend.

It was agreed on 12th January 2010 that all further Pub Watch meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at 3pm (unless there is a booking overlap or cancellation).

Heart of London Business Alliance are keen to raise awareness that the Bank of England is withdrawing the older style £20 notes that show a portrait of Sir Edward Elgar.

Holders of these notes may only continue to use them until 30th June 2010, from which point only banks, building societies and Post Offices will accept them (for a period of several months).
