This survey will help understand business and commuter travel and form a travel policy for the Heart of London area. Heart of London will feed the results from the survey, and the views of the businesses through to the correct departments within Transport for London and Westminster City Council to seek local improvements in public transport services and information, together with better local facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.

The London Visitor Survey (LVS) began in September 2006 and has been contracted to TNS until March 2008. The survey is designed to improve understanding of the London visitor experience. It aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of London as a visitor destination and to track visitor satisfaction with the capital over time. This is achieved through face to face interviews with both international and domestic visitors in the capital.
