Heart of London receive British BIDs Accreditation award

In September 2009, Heart of London Business Alliance were formally presented with the British BIDs Accreditation award at the British BIDs Annual Conference.

Last year, we became the first Business Improvement District in London to receive full compliance in the British BIDs Accreditation process and are only the second in the country to achieve this accolade.

British BIDs are the membership organisation for operating and developing BIDs, and their Accreditation System is the only industry standard to measure BID’s quality management systems. The Accreditation Board commended our communications and approach to relationship management, in particular our innovative and inclusive procedures for business engagement. They also recognised our strong relationship with Westminster City Council, our ability to engage property owners and strong and personable management team.
