West End and Chinatown Ward Panel Meetings

Ward Panel

Ward Panels are groups of representatives who live or work in a specific Westminster ward.  It is the panel's responsiblity to engage with the community, gauge which are the major concerns to those in the area and bring those concerns to the panel to discuss with the West End & Chinatown Safer Neighbourhood Team, Westminster City Council and other partners.

As a result, the panel determines the Ward Priorities for the period.  The Police and Council are then tasked to respond to these priorities and report their activity at the next meeting.  Panel members need to understand community concerns from a variety of perspectives, and be able to feedback results of police and partner activity.

Our Operations Manager, Dave Fereday chairs the West End and China Town Ward Panel.  The Ward Panel meets every six weeks and attendees include representatives from local businesses, residents and faith groups.
